Leadership Programs

LeadershipKEAN

LeadershipKEAN has been designed to be an integral part of the educational mission at Kean University.  LeadershipKEAN offers a series of leadership programs that are open to all students, providing them with opportunities to develop a personal style of shared leadership and opportunities to help others who aspire to become future leaders at Kean University.  The Center offers a First Year Leadership Retreat in the summer for freshmen interested in leadership development and offers a one year leadership program for freshmen called the Bronze Level. The Center also offers core training on various leadership topics for student leaders. Students interested in leadership topics can participate in workshops throughout the year as part of a Kean Student Leadership Certificate Program.

LeadershipKEAN supports programs on campus, which provide and promote leadership development opportunities for all students.  Through workshops, academic courses, lectures and experiential learning, the LeadershipKEAN instructors and facilitators will teach students about leadership theory and practice.  LeadershipKEAN will encourage students to participate in a wide variety of programs, activities, conferences, service projects, on-campus events and international experiences.
