  1. Kean EEO Professor of the Year Award (May 1999)
  2. Book of the Year 1999 from Religious Communication Association (National) for Selling Catholicism.
  3. St. Barnabas Health Systems "Spirit of Excellence Award 1998." One of 33 chosen out of 1082 nominations from all over New Jersey.
  4. Awarded Communication Studies Department Teacher of the Year 1994-95 at West Chester University

I edited the Freshman Seminar text, "Kean University, Your Key to Success", published in Fall 1988 by Simon and Schuster Custom Publishing. The second edition, "Gateway to Success" was published by Pearson Publishing in Fall 1999. A eight edition is being written for Fall 2005.

Wrote the time management exercise and the "Do You Manage Your Time or Does Time Manage You?" article - part of the Summer Assignments for freshmen.
