goodwriting

Good Writing. What is it?

Is good writing simply a matter of having good grammar and good vocabulary? What about ideas? Interesting examples? Clarity of thought?

How do authors achieve good writing? Is good writing natural? Does it comes out perfect the first time around? Or is planning, thinking, re-thinking, and re-writing important?

This space is for the exploration of these questions and others related to the nature of good writing.

In accomplishing this exploration, we will read and critique others' thoughts on good writing, interview people, write our own position on good writing, and write a proposal to future students on how to achieve good writing. And then we will transform our findings into a website for future students to use as a resource in their writing endeavors.
