  • Center for Professional Development

The Center for Professional Development is more than a wireless faculty technology lounge, conference room and faculty/staff seminar facility, it is also a variety of support services for all faculty members.  Bring your laptop, work in a wireless environment, and/or consult with other faculty members, as well as our staff. Share ideas on the use of ‘Technology in the Classroom’. Attend our training workshops and teaching related seminars.

All faculty are welcome to work in our walk-in technology and spend quiet time in the lounge. The lounge is located next door to our walk-in lab where our support staff can assist you with software problems.

The Center for Innovative Education focuses on 21st Century learning.  The Center seeks to strike a balance between the demands of formal education accountability and the challenges of the 21st Century Global environment.  Tapping a number of key statewide and national contacts, we seek to provide a high-quality, meaningful environment to explore 21st Century learning and the demands it places on contemporary educators.  Toward that end we offer rich professional development activities, ranging from short workshops to national caliber conferences, on topics ranging from classroom instruction in specific content areas to deep explorations of cutting-edge technologies.  Visit the website to find out about the latest offerings.
