The Department of Computer Science prepares students to think critically and creatively; to succeed in challenging careers in computing and information tehnology, or pursue graduate degrees; to adapt to changing technological and social environments in a global economy.
The Computer Science Department maintains teaching and research environments on a varities of platforms such as Windows, Macs, and Linux/Unix. Advanced research hardware such as High-End Visualization Workstations, 1040-core Cluster and 3D CAVE are also availabe in the Multimedia and Network, High Performance Computing, and Electronics Laboratories.
