Attention Graduating CED Students
After you apply for graduation, the Office of Graduate Student Services will review your academic history to ensure that you have completed all academic requirements. If you have completed all requirements, the staff will approve you for graduation and order your diploma.
Some may get a letter indicating that a required course is “missing.” In most cases, the “missing” course is probably related to a program revision that was not in effect when you matriculated. This notice will come from the Office of Graduate Student Services. Do not panic or get angry. You probably took the correct course (according to program revisions). Simply complete the top portion of the “course substitution form,” and place under the chair’s door for signing OR PICK UP A COPY FROM THE DEPT. SECRETARY. The form is available online at www.kean.edu or from the Office of Graduate Student Services. Once approved, your diploma will be ordered.
