The Council for Part-Time Students

CPTS is the Council for Part-Time Students. We are an organization that is committed to facilitating the growth and vision of the Kean University student population with our focus being the undergraduate adult learner and part-time student. Part time undergraduate status is considered 11 ½ credits or less. The undergraduate adult learner status is defined as the the student who is 25 years or older. Programs are geared for those populations, but all students are welcome to participate.

2007-2008 Mission

As leaders of CPTS, we are the voice of part time students and our goal is to inspire, support, connect and motivate our constituency at Kean University.

 

CPTS will:

• Maintain and enhance connections between our students

• Boost awareness of CPTS throughout Kean University Campus.

• Step up CPTS/Kean University team spirit

• Provide a friendly-family based environment

• Promote leadership skills and promote personal development

.

• attending a Friday evening meeting.
