The Council for Part-Time Students

 

 

CPTS is the Council for Part-Time Students. We are an organization that is committed to facilitating the growth and vision of the Kean University student population with our focus being the undergraduate adult learner and part-time student. Part time undergraduate status is considered 11 ½ credits or less. The undergraduate adult learner status is defined as the the student who is 25 years or older. Programs are geared for those populations, but all students are welcome to participate.


2008-2009 Mission

The foremost goal of CPTS for the 2008-2009 will be the building of a quality, skilled team of student leaders.  Our trained Council Leaders will be responsible for educating our constituency on:
 

  • important University information and updates,

  • avenues of obtaining/increasing personal leadership skills, and

  • embracing school spirit

.
