908-737-5888The federal and state government are requiring
all categories of “first responders” to undergo extensive and
intensive training programs aimed at better preparing them to
deal with, and help - possibly help prevent - potential
terrorist activities. The demand for education, in addition to
tactical training, is growing in fields ranging from local law
enforcement and fire safety officials to elected officials and
private sector risk management programs. Trained by the top
experts from the field, students will take five courses
addressing terrorism, preparedness. and public safety. The
courses meet once a week for 12 weeks. All students must
register for the CEM Program via the CEM website. External
Students must register for courses via the CEM website. Kean
University student must register courses for CEM courses via
KeanWise.

In the case that a criminal
justice major elects to obtain a CEM the above form provides the
criminal justice courses that may be replaced by the CEM courses
