WebCT 4.1 System Decommissioning Timeline

WebCT 4.1 system will no longer host courses, but instructors can still login to the system to export courses, look at old materials etc.

WebCT 4.1 system will be completely shutdown at the end of year 2009.

Course Content Migration from WebCT 4.1 to BbCE8

Instructors can perform a do-it-yourself task to migrate their necessary course contents from WebCT 4.1 to BbCE8.

Re-using Course Content on CE8 system (Clone a Course)

If you want to use content from a course that you already offered in CE6/CE8 system, you can assign the content by yourself.

Online Self Paced Training Course

Instructors should sign up for the Online Self Paced Training Course by sending an email to webct@kean.edu from your KEANGoogle email account. Make sure to put "Training Course Sign Up" on the subject line.

This online self paced training course is designed help faculty design and deliver their courses. This course is modular and broken in to related topics in short lessons.

Demo course

Each instructor is given access to a demo shell along with the enrollment to the course for practice and experiment.

Demo courses are for practice use only. Demo courses will never have student enrollment.
