Teaching and Research Interestes:
His teaching and research interests include (1) British, American and transatlantic Romanticism, (2) mystical/ecstatic poetry, (3) world literature, and (4) classical mythology. An avid interdisciplinarian, he approaches these subjects holistically from a variety of critical perspectives.
Publications:
Dr. Moores is the author of several scholarly articles and conference papers, as well as two books—Mystical Discourse in Wordsworth and Whitman (Peeters 2006) and The Dark Enlightenment: Jung, Romanticism & the Repressed Other (forthcoming 2010). He is currently editing an anthology of ecstatic poetry and researching the psychological and cultural implications of ecstatic experiences.
