Co-op and Internship Programs
at Kean University

Cooperative Education is a program that combines academic study with realistic, hands-on , career-related work experience. You may earn academic credits while on an approved employment experience internship directly related to their majors. Students are supervised by employers and advised by faculty members. The job may be either full or part-time, paying or non-paying, and credits earned vary with the work experience.

Companies taking part in the Cooperative Education program gain employees eager to learn their business and can use the program as a recruitment device for potential employees.

This opportunity is available to undergraduate juniors and/or seniors in the following departments: Accounting, Adult Fitness, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Communications, Computer Science, Economics, English, Finance, Fine Arts, Geology and Meteorology, Health Information Management, International Business, Management Science, Marketing, Mathematics, Political Science, Public Administration, Recreation, Sociology, and Technology.
