Members of the Fine Arts Department faculty have established themselves as practicing artists, crafts persons, scholars, and educators. Our studio faculty exhibit their work in museums and galleries both nationally and abroad and have also been recognized though various grants and fellowships. Faculty in Art History are nationally known in their fields, carrying out research in the U.S. and abroad, and publishing both books and articles. Art History faculty are active in national and international professional organizations, and annually present as invited speakers and as panelists at professional conferences. The faculty in Art Education represent a distinctive background rooted in developmental psychology and the clinical origins of artistic intelligence as they unfold in the growing individual. Published both in studio and research capacities, Art Education faculty also conduct nationwide seminar presentations.
