MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR

WELCOME,

GRAPHIC COMMUNICATIONS are the processes and industries that create, produce and distribute products utilizing or incorporating words or pictorial images to convey information, ideas and feelings. Graphic Communications includes the markets that utilize the technologies of printing, publishing, packaging, and electronic imaging. The Undergraduate and Graduate Graphic Communications program at Kean University teaches the technology management required for all phases of the graphic communications processes from origination of the idea, through reproduction, finishing and distribution. Curriculum emphasis are on emerging technologies such as digital pre-press, electronic image generation, designing for and utilizing the Internet, desktop publishing, digital photography, and digital printing technologies. Graduates are prepared for management-level positions in this exciting and rewarding field.
