Graduate Assistantship Performance
and Reappointment Recommendation
The time has arrived for consideration of your current graduate assistantship positions and reappointments for AY 2011-2012. Please click here to complete the Graduate Assistantship Performance and Reappointment Recommendation by April 29, 2011. Please note that prior to online submission, you MUST review the evaluation survey with your graduate assistant(s).
The evaluation process has several purposes:
- To evaluate performance for all Graduate Assistants. If the GA is graduating or not continuing next year, the performance evaluation will serve as a record for recommendations which are frequently sought by GA’s.
- To recommend/not recommend retention in the position if the GA has sufficient credits to continue.
- To recommend/not recommend reappointment as a GA in another area. Students sometimes request a change in order to pursue activity within a more discipline-related assignment. Supervisors are not obligated to hold their student’s position open if they do not wish to do so.
Please note that this survey is required in order to maintain your GA positions assigned, along with the Graduate Assistantship Allocation form for 2011-2012 academic year sent via e-mail in March.
