For the past twenty-eight years HACE has worked to advance the rights to access and advancement of Hispanic staff and faculty at Kean.  Moreover, HACE has played a key role in advocating for the recruitment and academic support of Hispanic students at the University.  To these ends, HACE has affected institutional policy at Kean with the goal of promoting an organizational environment that champions inclusion, multiculturalism, and respect for human diversity.   Moreover, we have striven to raise consciousness about the problems of discrimination, and about the obstacles to equitable, humane, and just treatment in the workplace.
