Schedule Your Appointment

Schedule your own appointment, click on the Advisortrac icon below to begin.

How to schedule an appointment using ADVISORTRAC

  1. Go to Health Services website: www.kean.edu/~health/

  2. Click on ADVISORTRAC logo

  3. Log on to the ADVISORTRAC page by entering your username and password (User Name is your cougar email login and your Password is your birthday (MMDDYY)

  4. Click Login; the ADVISOR Main Menu/Welcome page will appear



  1. On that Welcome page, click on the Go to… button at the top of the page

  2. Then, select Make Appointment

  3. The Availability Search page will appear; select the HS (Health Services) center

  4. Next, use the Advisor drop down menu to select the type of appointment needed. For more information on appointment types click here

  5. Choose the dates that you prefer to be seen under Available to/from

  6. A list will appear with the available dates for your appointment 

  7. Select your desired time for the appointment by clicking on the time slot

  8. Review your appointment time and date.

  9. Proceed to the drop down menu under Request Help In; select HS and the type of appointment needed.

  10. Click on Save Appointment; after the appointment is saved you will see a confirmation message at the bottom of the page that reads the following:

    Created (MM/DD/YYYY) at (time)  
    By Student ######

  11. To view your appointment, return to Main Menu. Click on the Go to… button at the top of the page then select Main Menu.

  12. Your appointment will appear on the Welcome page.  A confirmation email will be sent to your Cougar email account.

  13. In order to maximize your appointment time please have your forms filled out.  The forms are different for each appointment and  see our Health Forms page.


  1. On that Welcome page, click on the date of your appointment

  2. The Appointment Information page will appear

  3. Click on the Delete button

  4. You will then be sent to the Welcome page and have successfully canceled your appointment

  5. Or call Health Services at (908) 737-4880

If you need to miss your appointment, we ask that you inform us at least 24 hrs prior to the appointment time.  Failure to cancel an appointment or a missed appointment without notification will result in a penalty.


Appointments can be made for the following:

Primary Care

To speak with a Nurse regarding:

  • General Primary Care

Our primary care services include preventative health care and routine medical care, such as treatment of common illnesses (colds, vomiting, allergies; respiratory and urinary tract infections); accidents, and injuries such as sprains, fractures and lacerations. 

  • Pregnancy testing and counseling regarding pregnancy options
  • Allergy Desensitization Injections
    According to a schedule and with the allergens provided by your private health practitioner.  This service is only available for residential students while classes are in session.
  • Dermatology
    Routine skin disorders, PPD Readings (Mantoux, TB) 
  • Urgent Services
    Acute care and first aid

Referrals for specialty consultations and care can be made when necessary.

Gynecology- Women's Health Care

To speak with a Nurse regarding:

  • Routine pelvic and breast examinations
  • Pap tests
  • Contraceptive services
  • Sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment

Men's Clinic

To speak with a Nurse regarding:

  • Preventive health services
  • Screening for sexually transmitted infections 
  • Testicular exams are available


HIV Testing

Free and Confidential HIV testing is available at Health Services.

  • Please note that HIV testing appointments are for HIV testing only.

If you would like to schedule an appointment for HIV and STD testing for the same appointment, please schedule with our Men’s Clinic or with Gynecology (for females).

Immunization Records

To speak with the Program Assistant regarding:

  • Questions about immunization holds/ restrictions
  • For immunization records request
  • For questions about NJ state immunization requirements
