Come and learn how to beat the nerves and ace your job interview to secure a job on or off-campus. The International Student Services has organized a Job Interview Workshop to be conducted by your Kean University Career Coordinator, Mrs. Blanca Rosales-Ahn. The workshop will provide detailed explanation about how to present your specific skills during an interview as well as interviewing tips.
The workshop will include:
Phases of an interview
What determines success in an interview
Do's and Don'ts of interviewing
Learning to listen
Sample questions
Closing the interview
Followup after an interview

The International Student Services Mentorship Program is designed to assist freshmen students in making a successful start in college. Mentoring is a learning method based on one-to-one communication between a highly experienced professional or peer and the student. It is a powerful tool aimed to achieve social and cultural understanding and personal growth.

Come and learn how to transition from the end of your F-1 status to the beginning of your H-1B status. International Student Services has organized an H-1B workshop to be conducted by an experienced immigration attorney. We will be addressing topics related to the new regulations regarding 29-month OPT.
• OPT Information Workshop

Come and learn how to transition from the end of your current degree program to working off-campus. International Student Services has organized an Optional Practical Training (OPT) workshop to be conducted by your international advisor and designated school official, Mrs. Lilliam Hodge-Banner. We will be addressing current topics related to OPT and the new regulations regarding 29-month OPT for STEM degree programs.
