I wish to express my sincere appreciation to Kean University for
making my dream of this repository of web sites a reality. The
research for this project is funded by two U.S. Dept. of Education
PT3 (Preparing Tomorrow’s Teachers to Use Technology) Grants from
Kean University, Union, New Jersey (www.kean.edu). I also wish to
thank all of my colleagues who directed me to helpful web sites. I
hope that the repository will be one tool among a repertoire of
tools to prevent or reduce violence and trauma for children, so they
will be able to remain children during the formative years, and be
able to focus on the priority of learning. Original posting: 2005 Last revision: 2008 DirectionsThis repository runs in a web browser and requires Internet access for optimum use. In order to view and print some of the materials provided, you will also need Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat Reader. As you peruse the repository, click onto a hyperlink and it will take you to a specific web site. To access some PDF files, you may have to type in the web site address. Click onto one of the blue boxes at the top of the page to get started. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Recommendations of additional web sites would be greatly appreciated for the next edition of this Repository (jgary@kean.edu).
