The Master of Arts in Counselor Education, Business and Industry Counseling, is an interdisciplinary option offered by the university's graduate programs in Psychology and Counselor Education. It includes courses in both theory and application of business and employee assistance counseling as well as supervised experiences in the field. The program has as its primary goal the education and training of professionals with expertise in counseling in the workplace.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
In addition to the University's admission requirements:
- Official transcripts from every college or university attended
- Cumulative grade point average (G.P.A.) of at least 3.0. Lower G.P.A. may be considered based on the strength of the overall application.
- GRE (Graduate Record Exam) or MAT (Miller Analogies Test) scores
- Two letters of recommendation
- Departmental interview may be required

- Conditionally admitted; following successful completion of core courses, students participate in a selections session to advance to full admission.
