PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Graduate Certification Program for Principals is designed for students who possess a master’s degree,
have five years experience teaching or in educational services and wish only to receive certification
as a Principal.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

In addition to the University’s admission requirements:

  • Official transcripts from all institutions attended
  • Master's degree
  • New Jersey Instructional or Education Services Certificate
  • Two years working under appropriate certificate

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

18-30 Credits

  • Students already possessing a supervisor certificate will not be required to complete Module II (if this
    work was completed outside of Kean, all remaining courses must be taken at Kean)
  • Five Years Experience under the appropriate certificate
