PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Graduate Certification Program for Supervisors is designed for students who possess a master’s degree, have taught three years, and wish only to receive certification as a supervisor.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
In addition to the University’s admission requirements:
- Master’s degree
- New Jersey Instructional or Educational Services Certificate
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
- 12 credits
- Three years teaching experience under the appropriate certificate
REQUIRED COURSES – 12 credits
- EL 5606 School Supervision and Organizational Theory 3 credits
- EL 5607 Supervision and Evaluation of Instruction 3 credits
- EL 5613 Curriculum Development and Evaluation: Theory and Practice 3 credits
- EL 5614 Learning, Instruction, Evaluation and the Curricula 3 credits
