The graduate certificate in E-business is designed to be relevant both for the entrepreneur who wants to investigate the myriad ways E-commerce can improve and vitalize an organization and for the business professional who wants to develop a working knowledge of how to design, author, and publish effective websites. It provides a focused study of web technology and addresses both managerial and technical issues. Courses in the certificate program explore the impact of web technology to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of an organization’s processes, to aid in the development of new products and services, and to improve dealings with the organization’s stakeholders. Web programming, web authoring, and web publishing courses are all offered within the certificate course selections.
Small business owners or managers will find the E-Business Certificate provides a comprehensive examination of the ways this technology can help grow and improve their business and also enables them to develop their company’s E-commerce capability in-house.
