Graduate Commencement Greetings

In an effort to personalize the commencement ceremony, we invite you to submit one or both of the following:

  • A short message of appreciation to a loved one, faculty member or fellow student who has helped you achieve your dream; someone you feel has helped you to achieve your goals.
  • A picture of a Kean memory you wish to share with your classmates.

If you would like to have your photograph displayed with your message, please send the electronic file as an attachment to  cpd@kean.edu.  Include your full name in the subject line.

Examples:

  • I am forever grateful to my wife and children who gave me the support needed to make my dream come true. Love, Harold Smith    (129 characters)
  • Thanks Mom and Dad for helping me achieve my goal. Your loving daughter, Mary Smith (86 characters)
  • Colleen, I couldn’t have done it without you. Love Harold Smith  (67 characters)
  • Best wishes to all of my classmates in the Nursing program. May our paths cross again on this long road of life. Mary Smith  (127 characters) 

Your message and/or picture will appear briefly on the presentation screens at the sides of the stage during the musical performance at the commencement ceremony. All messages and pictures will be reviewed for content and you will be asked to confirm them before final submission. Depending on the number of submissions, we will not be able to guarantee that all messages and pictures will be displayed. 

Your message must be received no later than May 8, 2008 to be considered for presentation

Any greetings submitted after the deadline will only be seen online, post Commencement. Please check back then, a link will be provided.
