Apply Online - Online Application Instructions

To begin the online application process you will need to supply your email address (this will in turn become your LOGIN ID). After providing your email address and then pressing the 'Assign me a Password' button we will then immediately send a randomly generated password to your email address.

One you receive a password you can then return to the application pages and proceed to sign in.

  1. Check Application Requirements to view test(s) required, undergraduate prerequisites, special requirements, departmental interviews, deadlines, and the number of reference forms required for the program to which you are applying.
  2. International Students must download the International Supplement
  3. Once you have access to the application you should be prepared to provide/check the following:
    1. Referee names and referee email addresses (referees will be contacted via email and can complete the reference form in a short time online) must be provided. Check the Application Requirements to find out how many references you will need for the program to which you are applying. You will receive an email confirmation each time one of your referees has sent in a reference form for you.
    2. A $60 (non-refundable) fee needs to be paid at the end of this application. You can pay either with a credit card(over a secure site) or you can send a check via mail (instructions at the end of the application). The application fee for international students is $150.
    3. You will be asked to provide an essay. You can create this offline and then copy/paste it into the textbox provided on the application.
    4. You can return to your application as often as you like and make changes until the time that you pay. Once you pay and obtain a confirmation of your payment you cannot modify anything - anything you change will not be saved.
    5. At/near the bottom of each screen there is a button to allow you to save the information you typed on the current page. Be sure to press this button each opportunity along the way.
  4. If you pick 'Apply for Graduate Assistantship' within your admission application then after you pay (with Verisign, secure site) the system will proceed to load the Graduate Assistantship and fill in any data of yours from the admissions application that applies. You will have two(2) short sections to complete (skills and availability).

Reminder: Applications cannot be considered for evaluation until all required documents (transcripts, recomendation letters, etc...) have been received by the Office of Graduate Admissions.
