Welcome to the Kean University Child Care Center, a human relations laboratory.

We are pleased to offer early care and education to the students and employees of the University. Our philosophy is based on best practices in early childhood education. Under the direction of the Department of Early Childhood and family studies, we demonstrate the most current and proven research to develop our program, taking into account the needs, interests and abilities of the children.

Along with certified teachers, we are staffed by a number of graduate assistants and student workers who are part of our team of professionals. Most of them are education majors who are studying to be early childhood and elementary teachers.

We hope you will visit the center and observe the ways we make children's learning visible. If you have questions, our teachers will be happy to meet with you when they are not engaged with the children.
