Books requested through Interlibrary Loan must be picked up at the Nancy Thompson Library's Circulation Desk, whereas
a photocopy of a requested specific book chapter would be mailed to your office, residence hall, or home address
(see separate form for requesting a Book Chapter through Interlibrary Loan).

The library will notify the requester via email when a book is available for pick up at the Circulation Desk.

WARNING CONCERNING COPYRIGHT RESTRICTIONS

The Interlibrary Loan Code prohibits requests for certain types of materials such as: audio and video recordings, items currently in print, standard reference works, current issues of journals, materials for class or reserve use, ordering within one year more than six journal articles published within the last five years from any single journal title, an excessive number of titles at one time for one patron (not more than five items within a single week), and any materials requested in violation of the U.S. Copyright Law, Guidelines, and Bern Convention.
