In order to apply for the McNair Program you must meet the following requirements:
Eligibility Requirements
U.S. citizen or permanent resident
First-generation and low-income per federal guidelines; OR a member of a group underrepresented in graduate education (African American, Hispanic, Native American, or Native Alaskan)
Minimum of 56 credits by the end of the Spring semester
Minimum of 2.75 cumulative GPA
A strong desire to pursue a Ph.D.(Mathematics or Sciences preferred)
