Dr. Thomas Abraham has been selected to receive the Bright Idea Award in Information Technology and Dr. Torres-Baumgarten has been selected to receive the Bright Idea Award in Teaching sponsored by the Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University and the NJPRO Foundation. Dr. Abraham’s paper, “Changing IT Skills”, was identified as one of the top nine manuscripts from over 125 publications that were submitted. While, Dr. Torres-Baumgarten’s teaching note, “Case of insider sabotage at Omega Engineering”, was identified as one of the top nine manuscripts from over 125 publications that were submitted.
Congratulations Dr. Abraham for being selected to receive this award for the second consecutive year and congratulations Dr. Torres-Baumgarten on this great accomplishment!!!

Dr. Jie Yang, an associate professor of management in the Department of Management, joined the Kean University faculty in August 2007. Since arriving at Kean, Yang has published seven articles and has had three others accepted for publication in highly ranked journals, such as the International Journal of Production Economics, the International Journal of Production Research, the International Journal of Quality and Reliability Management, Omega, Production Planning and Control, Technology Analysis & Strategic Management, Knowledge and Process Management, and the International Journal of Technology Management.
