JoAnne
Beiter has over 20 years of experience in the marketing of services to end
consumers and B to B clients in the financial services, telecommunications,
healthcare and publishing industries.
She has held numerous positions during her tenure at Citi in Marketing,
Sales Management and Training and was recognized consistently for the
development of cost effective, creative solutions resulting in “best practices”
at the bank. Her area of expertise is in
the development of integrated marketing programs as seen by her work at AT&T,
Oxford Health Plans and The New York Times.
JoAnne earned her undergraduate degree in Management
Science at Kean University and holds an MBA in International Business from
Bernard M. Baruch (CUNY).

Domenick is an Adjunct
Professor whose focus is Retail Marketing.

The incorporation of current industry practices and client examples are weaved
throughout each course he teaches. Domenick's retail marketing experience comes
from 25 years working in his family business, Celentano Bros. Inc.
His professional career is focused at The FoodPreneur,
helping small to mid size specialty foods companies with Strategic Planning,
Category Management, Branding, and overall retail shelf strategy. All efforts
are focused on a strategy for success in a variety of retail distribution
channels .
He has a BS in Business Administration from Montclair
State University. He received an MBA from St. Joseph's University and is
currently pursuing a Post Masters Certificate in Food Marketing.
Domenick is a frequent speaker; examples are the New
York Fancy Food Show, Association for Corporate Growth and The New Jersey/Italy
Trade Council.

Bruce Freeman
Nationally known as Professor Bruce,
The Small Business Professor®,
Bruce Freeman is a syndicated small business columnist for Scripps Howard News
Service. His column, Ask The Small
Business Professor, is distributed to over 300 newspapers in the
Bruce is co-author of the book, Birthing the Elephant,
Ten Speed Press a division of Random House Inc. (March 2008).
Bruce hosts a regular radio program on the Smallbiz America Radio
Network.

A successful entrepreneur, he founded Proline Communications
providing marketing and public relations services (est 1991). In addition, Bruce
is an adjunct professor of management and entrepreneurship at Kean and Seton
Hall universities.
Bruce was recently selected to be small business spokesperson
for Brother International.
He has spoken at, UPenn/Wharton, National Association of
Women Business Owners (Louisville KY), Spalding University, Milburn-Short Hills
Chamber of Commerce, North Essex Chamber of Commerce and the New Jersey
Association of Woman Business Owners (NJAWBO).
Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Bruce was Director of
Operations for PC Magazine’s product
test lab (Ziff Davis Publishing).

Peter Hercky has been an adjunct
professor at Kean since 1982. He has taught a wide range of marketing
related courses including Introduction to Marketing, Advertising, Sales
Management, Sports Marketing, Services Marketing, International Marketing,
Retail Marketing and Consumer Behavior.
Hercky is a partner in Hercky Pasqua Herman, a full
service, marketing communications firm based in Roselle Park. The company
provides advertising, public relations, marketing consulting, market research,
direct mail and internet services to its B2B and consumer clients.
He attended Rutgers University and earned an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson
University.

out marketing/communication articles of interest for his students and posts them

Marc Kalan
is a consumer packaged goods marketing veteran with over 30 years of relevant
industry expertise. Mr. Kalan
combines senior marketing management experiences from client, agency and
marketing services vendors (established and start-ups) giving him the unique
ability to see issues and opportunities from multiple perspectives.
Marc has held positions in marketing management at
companies like American Can (Northern Bathroom Tissue), Warner-Lambert (Trident,
Chiclets, Schick) and Thompson Medical (Dexatrim). He has extensive expertise:
creating impactful marketing programs; managing and building marketing, account
and sales teams, in both On-Line and Off-Line spaces (media and promotion);
identifying, qualifying, selling new revenue generating business while building
strong client relationships; combining superior analytical, interpersonal, oral,
and written communication skills for clients including Proctor & Gamble,
BP/Castrol ING Direct, Pfizer, Glaxo SmithKline, J&J, Pepsi, Coca-Cola,
Unilever, Wyeth, Kraft, Del Monte Fresh, Hershey, Playtex and Colgate.
Marc currently serves as EVP & Chief Marketing Officer
for LR Johnson Associates, a West Coast based consultancy.

Kristofer
MacDermant has over 17 years of experience in sales, marketing, operations and
management, within the technology market. Currently Kris is Director of Sales
for CDW responsible for the NE region of their SMB segment. Prior to CDW, Kris
was Director of Sales and Operations for MicroWarehouse, Inc. providing
leadership to multiple sales and sales support segments of the US and Canada.
Previously Kris had served in a number of sales and management positions with
MicroWarehouse, Inc. in the US, Canada, UK, France, Germany and the Netherlands.
Kristofer received his MBA through the Executive MBA program at Rutgers
Business School, Rutgers University and his BS in Business
Administration/Marketing from Monmouth University.

Thomas J. Metz
has over 35 years of success in financial services with the last 18 years
devoted to customer experience and customer relationship management (CRM) and
other marketing strategies to improve the customer experience and increase
revenues. He is currently VP, COO
and CFO of the Mann Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia, PA, a 501c
company dedicated to providing wonderful open-air theater arts and music
experiences from the Philadelphia Orchestra through all genres of music to
current day rock. Mr. Metz formerly
provided consulting services to the Mann as CEO of Metz CE Consulting, LLC, a
management consulting firm dedicated to helping organizations deliver memorable
customer experiences and building related revenues.
He holds his MBA in Finance and Accounting from LaSalle University in
Philadelphia, PA and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Robert O’Connor has worked in Sales and Marketing
management positions in his corporate career, delivering and implementing sales
and marketing plans and programs to sell communications products and services.
He currently is a Sales Director selling consulting services to business
clients. Mr. O’Connor has taught
Marketing, Professional Selling, and Advertising courses at the undergraduate
level for eight years. He looks to incorporate his “real world” business
experiences in communicating the key concepts and principles of the subject
matter.
Mr. O’Connor earned an MBA in Marketing from Fairleigh
Dickinson University. He has
completed the Wharton School Executive Education Program.
Aleida Rosete
Prof. Rosete has been an Adjunct Professor in the Management and Marketing Departments at Kean University since 2009. During this period she has taught Small Business Management, Principles of Management and International Marketing. Prof. Rosete is retired from Merck & Co., Inc. where she worked for over 37 years and successively held several executive positions in International Public Affairs and International Marketing Departments. Her duties included working at various worldwide locations on a variety of projects ensuring that marketing and promotional strategies were implemented. Prof. Rosete’s educational background includes an A.A. and an A.S. from Union County College, Cranford, N.J.; a B.S. (Management Science), a P.B.M. (Economics) and a M.A.L.S. (Economics, Psychology, Sociology and Political Science) all from Kean University, Union, N.J.

Eileen Strong
is a very seasoned professional of the Advertising and Marketing Business world.
She presents to her students 20 years first hand experience from the
client and agency side. EEileen
brings an extensive involvement with major product lines such as Grey Poupon,
Ortega products, Miller Beer, A1 Steak Sauce, Keebler products and several
Health & Beauty Aid products.
Regional and national promotions for 3 tiered marketing campaigns is her
strength.
Educated at the University of Wisconsin in Business and
Communication; her students will benefit with in-depth skills applicable to the
world of advertising and marketing.
Patrick Wheeler
Patrick Wheeler is an adjunct
instructor at Kean University, Rutgers University, and the College of New
Jersey, teaching marketing and leadership courses.
He is also an executive with Consolidated
Edison Company of New York, one of the nation’s largest energy companies.
Over the past 25 years at Con Edison he has managed groups in several
departments in the company, including finance and supply chain, corporate
communications, corporate planning, and customer service.
Before joining Con Edison, Patrick worked for
the Nuclear Energy Institute in

from Drexel University.
