As a member of the Mathematics Department at Kean University, I teach a variety of mathematics courses from freshmen to graduate level, and pursue research on numerical methods for partial differential equations.

I am an active participant in the Finite Element Circus , an ongoing series of meetings of researchers studying the finite element method (FEM). FEM is a way to find numerical solutions to partial differential equations and is used widely in physics and engineering. I enjoy teaching and have created supplements for Finite Mathematics and business calculus using the Excel spreadsheet software.
