A free office suite software; compatible with Microsoft software

C++ compiler
Free from Borland. It's only a command line interface, but should be suitable
for most purposes.

Linux The ultimate
freebie. This is a Unix-like operating system which can be installed on
a PC. If you're serious about installling it, save time by ordering a CD-ROM
installation from Redhat
Linux.
