I grew up in Bangalore, India. I received my Ph.D. in
Management Information Systems from the University of Massachusetts,
Amherst. I taught at St. John's University for six years before coming
to Kean in 1995.
I am a Professor and Chair of the Management
Department since Fall 2005. Prior to that I was Co-coordinator of the Master of Science in
Management Information Systems (MSMIS)
program since 1997. I also teach at both the graduate and
undergraduate levels in the area of Management and Information Systems.
My research has been primarily in the field of MIS education and online
learning.
I have also spent several years as a consultant. I
have worked on several MIS projects in the music industry at companies such
as Sony and BMG.
