Objectives: to observe and analyze actual
classroom instruction using NJCCS and NJPTS*, to assess personal aptitude for
teaching, to gain an overview of education as a profession |
Objectives: to prepare lesson plans
aligned with NJCCCS and NJPTS*, to assume limited teaching responsibilities
in classroom setting, to assess readiness for professional internship |
Objectives: to integrate educational theory into
classroom practice, to develop self-evaluation and reflection skills, to
assess readiness for classroom teaching responsibilities |

Requirement: actual classroom teaching
under the supervision of cooperating teacher and supervisor; reflective
journal, daily written lesson plans aligned with NJCCCS & NJPTS*, a video
tape presentation, and completion of professional portfolio. Students MUST take and pass the respective
Praxis Test for their program PRIOR to performing the Professional
Internship. |
