The Teaching Performance Center at Kean University is currently seeking University Supervisors (adjuncts) to support and mentor College of Education students in their field experiences.  Applicants need to be available during the school day and will supervise students placed in public schools located in Essex, Middlesex, Monmouth, Somerset and Union Counties.  The university supervisor performs the functions of orientation, supervision and evaluation and represents Kean University, the College of Education and the Teaching Performance Center in the cooperating schools.

Supervisors are currently needed in the following areas:

• Bilingual/Bicultural Elementary Education

• Spanish/World Languages

Qualifications include:

• Permanent certification in the content area of supervision or as an administrator/supervisor as issued by the New Jersey Department of Education

• A minimum of three (3) years permanent certified experience in the area(s) of certification

• Master's Degree

• Supervisor's certification and/or formal training in supervision (preferred)

• Supervisory experience

• Computer literacy
