In accordance with the Kean University Board of Trustees' directive to implement Travel Policy Guidelines for University Employees, effective immediately all University business travel requiring air or rail MUST be booked by Current Travel Consultants at (908) 737-0500. This dedicated Kean telephone number is available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please review the Kean University Travel Manual on the web site http://www.kean.edu/travel_manual.html for the most current policies and procedures.

  • All receipts must be submitted and reimbursed within 45 days of travel
  • Travel Authorization Forms must be completed and approved PRIOR to travel including assigned BT number
  • Reimbursement is limited to a total of $1,000 annually
  • All travel must comply with State and University Ethics requirements
