Many people believe writers work completely alone, only sharing their work with others when it is finished. This isn't true. Almost all writers get feedback on drafts, incorporating the readers' suggestions into further revision. Sometimes, they work in groups. This activity, called workshopping, has become common practice in many writing classrooms.
