Vocal/singing technique

Teaching Philosophy

The journey to becoming a singer is very personal. Each student is learning about their voice and how it functions in a singing capacity. This process is emotional and physical. There must be a deep level of respect and trust between singer and voice teacher for advancements in technical proficiency to emerge. It is my role, through my knowledge of vocal pedagogy to teach the singers how to use their voices in a healthy way, producing a free, healthy and resonant tone, and to bring that voice to the stage. One of my strengths is my positive approach and my ability to communicate vocal technique in a manner that each student can understand and apply.
