Teaching Philosophy

Becoming a counselor is a lifelong journey. I aim to join with students and encourage their understanding of self and others through the use of experiential activities that promote core counseling values, such as empathy, ethical behavior and multicultural competence. At the heart of my teaching is a connection to the clients my students will go on to serve.
