Women receiving advanced degrees from Kean University’s Nathan Weiss Graduate College took a bow to thunderous applause, and the music of Beyoncé, at the graduate college commencement ceremony, held at New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark on Friday, May 17. Nearly 80 percent of the Class of 2019 are women.
