This website is a repository for resources on e-learning, and it is an introduction to using online tools to promote learning, both in the classroom and without.

Online tools, when used appropriately, can engage students effectively in the learning process. They do so in part by creating a sense of ownership and community that results from the relationships established in students' interactions among themselves and with others outside the classroom. And in part, these interactions reiterate course concepts and can expand them into students' own practices outside of the school environment, thus deepening student understanding.
