Schedule Your Appointment

HOW TO ACTIVATE YOUR PATIENT PORTAL

  1. Go to http://kean.studenthealthportal.com
  2. Create your patient portal by clicking the “click here to register” link and enter the information requested. (You must enter all the zeros in your Kean ID#)
  3. Click “register”
  4. A password will be sent to your Kean email when you register. (Note: We recommend you change the original password that was sent to you. To do so, follow the “How to Change Your Password” Instructions).

HOW TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT USING PYRAMED

  1. Go to http://kean.studenthealthportal.com
  2. Log on by entering your Kean ID# (You must enter all the zeros in your Kean ID#) and password. (Note: If this is your first time using the patient portal, you must register first. Visit “How to Activate Your Patient Portal.” We also recommend you change the original password that was sent to you. To do so, follow the “How to Change Your Password” Instructions).
  3. Click on the “Appt. Scheduling” drop down menu and select “Schedule Appt.”
  4. Select a date you want to be seen.
  5. Select a reason for appointment.
  6. Click Search
  7. A list of available appointments will show up. Select the time and provider you prefer. (Note: If you have no preference for a provider you may select any provider that is available).
  8. A confirmation page will appear with your appointment date, time and provider.
  9. To verify your appointment or view your upcoming appointments, click on the “Appt. Scheduling” drop down menu and select “View Appts.”
  10. Your appointment will show up in the list of upcoming appointments.

HOW TO CANCEL AN APPOINTMENT

  1. Go to http://kean.studenthealthportal.com
  2. Log on by entering your Kean ID# (You must enter all the zeros in your Kean ID#) and password.
  3. Click on the “Appt. Scheduling” drop down menu and select “View Appts.”
  4. Locate the appointment you want to cancel and select “click to cancel”
  5. The status should change to “cancelled” which indicates you have successfully cancelled your appointment.
  6. You can also call Health Services at 908-737-4880 to cancel or change any appointment.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we ask that you inform us at least 24 hours prior to the appointment time. Failure to cancel or reschedule an appointment within 24 hours will result in a $15 fee that is billed through Student Accounting.

HOW TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD

  1. Go to http://kean.studenthealthportal.com
  2. Log on by entering your Kean ID# (You must enter all the zeros in your Kean ID#) and password.
  3. Click on the “My Profile” drop down menu and select “Change Password”
  4. Fill out requested information on that page.
  5. Click “change password”
  6. A confirmation page will appear stating your password has changed.
