Take advantage of one of the most affordable ways to earn your four-year degree in NJ! Kean University degree completion programs are now available at the Southern Education Center in Manahawkin, NJ in the following areas:
COMMUNITY HEALTH EDUCATION
Come meet with representatives from Kean Ocean, Kean Online and Ocean County College. Attendees receive a $75 application fee waiver.
On the day of your appointment, please bring official transcripts in their original and sealed envelopes from every college previously attended.

Directions to Southern Education Center (SEC) - 195 Cedar Bridge Road, Manahawkin NJ 08050
LOCAL Directions: Route 72 East past the Stafford Square Shopping Center in Manahawkin. Follow signs to Route 9 North (jug handle exit on right). Turn Left at the second traffic light onto Cedar Bridge Road. Continue past the Southern Regional School District Buildings. SEC is ahead on the left.
From NORTH or SOUTH: GSP to Exit 63, Route 72 East - Manahawkin/Long Beach Island. Follow LOCAL directions.
FROM WEST: Take Route 72 East. Follow LOCAL directions
From Philadelphia Area: Route 295 to Exit 34, Route 70 East. Continue approximately 21 miles. At traffic circle, turn right onto Route 72 East. Continue approximately 23 miles. Follow LOCAL directions.
Kean University and Ocean County College have established a partnership to provide higher education in Ocean County beyond the level of the associate’s degree. Students completing their associate’s degree can continue on with their study for a Kean bachelor’s degree with Kean courses offered on the OCC campus. Master's degree are also available in the areas of Counseling, Exercise Science and Nursing.
