Campus Status
Kean to Resume Normal Operations Friday, September 3
Kean University will resume normal operations at the Union campus and Kean Skylands tomorrow, Friday, September 3. Classes and activities will take place as scheduled. Kean Ocean continues to be open and operating normally.
The University continues to make repairs and clean up the Union campus in the aftermath of flooding from Wednesday's storm. At this time, three buildings do not have power:
- Bruce Hall
- Townsend Hall
- Technology Building
Students and faculty with classes in these buildings should monitor their Kean email to learn where their classes will be held tomorrow. The Office of the Registrar is temporarily moving the classes to new locations.
Kean employees who work in these buildings should contact their supervisors for their assignments.
Also, please note that the Office of Computer and Information Services (OCIS) Help Desk will have limited support staff available on Friday, September 3 as resources are diverted to emergency repairs.
Thank you for your cooperation.
