Scholarship Opportunity

NJANSA is offering a scholarship opportunity to first-time full-time students as of Fall 2014.

-The recipients of this scholarship will demonstrate their participation in and proficiency with activities associated with the first-year experience and college success, such as first-year seminar, orientation, peer mentoring, and other activities that are associated with first-year and transfer programs and events.  Please visit the NJANSA website for the application and more information:


$500 each to one two-year and one four-year college student


-First-time full-time students as of Fall 2014

-GPA of 2.5 or above (unofficial transcript must be included)

-Completed application (including an essay of at least 500 words outlining involvement and participation in first-year experience/college success activities and events.  See application for more details.)

-Recommendation of advisor or faculty member (preferably a member of NJANSA)
