Graduate Arrival Time
Please arrive no later than 7 a.m. with your
cap, gown and reader card and proceed to the Lafayette Tower entrance
to prepare for your processional
lineup. The procession will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m.
There, you will be directed by the Kean University commencement
marshals, who will be wearing blue robes. They will direct
the lineup, which will begin promptly at 7 a.m. No guests will be allowed in the lineup area.
* IMPORTANT:
The City of Newark will launch a major repaving project on Broad Street, between Edison Place and Franklin Street.
For Undergraduate Commencement on Thursday, May 16, utility work will begin at 7 a.m. and continue until 4 p.m.
Anyone driving to the ceremony should expect major delays. Please plan accordingly and allow plenty of time to arrive at the venue no later than 7a.m.
The train is an alternative for those who don't wish to drive. Newark Penn Station is only one stop from the Union Station and is walking distance to the Prudential Center. Click here for a train schedule.

Tickets Information
Each graduating student will be given 5 tickets for guest seating in the Prudential Center. Tickets will be required. This policy ensures that every graduate will have 5 seats for guests. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Students will receive a ticket voucher when you pick up your cap and gown in the University Center. This ticket voucher must be turned in at the Wilkins Theatre Box Office to retrieve your five (5) guest tickets. Click here to see more tickets information.
Graduate Entrance
Graduating students must enter Lafayette Tower - located at the Southeast corner of the building
at Mulberry and Lafayette.
Guest Entrance
Guests must enter PNC Bank Tower - located at the Northeast corner of the building at Mulberry and Edison Place.
