Kean University Occupational Therapy Community Cares Clinic

The KUOT-CCC provides traditional occupational therapy services as well as consulting, wellness education, advocacy and support services to assist individuals across the lifespan. The KUOT-CCC services the Kean Community (students and alumni), the local community, and works to advance the OT profession. Community-based services and research are an integral part of the clinic and OT student program. 

 

Mission

The Kean University Occupational Therapy (OT) Community Cares Clinic (CCC) offers client-centered and holistic occupational therapy treatment, consulting, advocacy and support services to assist individuals to actively participate in meaningful occupations within their chosen communities. The clinic provides an evidenced-based learning environment for occupational therapy students and conducts industry-leading research to highlight the value of the occupational therapy profession. The clinic also promotes health and wellness through high-quality care and education that is visible, accessible, and affordable to both the Kean and local communities.
