Kean Ocean is located on the Ocean County College campus in Toms River. We offer students with an associate degree or at least 30 college credits more than 40 world-class degree programs and options. We also have an ever-growing offering of graduate programs.

You may be interested in the OCC/Kean Ocean combined degree program.It’s one of the most affordable and convenient ways to obtain a 4-year degree on a single campus in New Jersey. Students completing their associate’s degree can seamlessly continue on with their study for a Kean bachelor’s degree with Kean courses offered on the OCC campus.
Veteran Student Services provides transition services to veterans, service members, and dependents under the Kean Veterans Educational Transition Services Program, Kean V.E.T.S. We are dedicated to creating a seamless transition from soldier to student by providing a multitude of services at Kean and the surrounding community. Yoga Teacher Certification is now offered at both Kean's main campus in Union, NJ and at Kean Ocean!
The 200 hour certification is awarded through Yoga Alliance and can be obtained while taking the Yoga Studies Minor or taken on its own. The RYT will provide students the knowledge and insight needed to teach yoga as a career or to use yoga as a tool when working with clients. The certification will support professionals in various fields such as physical therapists, recreational therapists, occupational therapists, personal fitness trainers, athletic trainers, mental health professionals, educators and more.
This program is open to both Kean and Non-Kean students. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age. A college degree and/or transcripts are not requirements but students should be equipped and prepared to handle the challenging course load. Yoga experience is preferred but not required.
