Kean Ocean Advisement
NEWLY ADMITTED STUDENTS for SUMMER or FALL 2021 must receive academic advisement prior to registering for courses.
Please visit AdvisorTrac (see below for instructions and the link for access) to make an appointment for one of the following Advisement/Registration Sessions:
Friday, April 9th, 2021 10am-3pm
Friday, May 7th, 2021 1-5pm
Tuesday, June 8th, 2021 10-3pm
Thursday, July 1st, 2021 1-5pm
Thursday, August 5th, 2021 10-3pm
Thursday, August 26th, 2021 1-6pm
While the university is working remotely, the above advisement sessions will take place virtually. New students should immediately begin to use their assigned Kean Google email address. Your advisement appointment will take place through Google Hangouts, only available from your Kean email account. See our Kean Ocean Next Steps to Enrollment page for information.

TO LOG IN TO ADVISOR TRAC:
Enter your Kean Google USERNAME and your BIRTHDATE (MMDDYY).
Your username is included in your admissions information.
Click on SEARCH AVAILABILITY
Under Center, select KEAN OCEAN REGISTRATION
Under Consultant, select your MAJOR PROGRAM
Select an APPOINTMENT TIME on the date of your choice. Available dates are included in your admissions information.
Select the Reason of ACADEMIC ADVISEMENT and enter your PHONE NUMBER.
Click ADVISORTRAC to access the system.
CONTINUING STUDENTS must meet with their academic adviser every semester. An advisement hold will be placed on your record each semester on your road to graduation.

Approved to take OCC courses based on major program articulation sheet?
- Complete the Course Work at Another Institution form, including the bottom Payment Authorization area to begin the approval process.
- To save the filled form for emailing, you may print to complete then scan in via email or use CTRL+P and instead of printing, choose Save as PDF, then save with your name and the semester the form is related to.
- Email to your advisor directly requesting approval for the courses entered.
- Once your advisor has signed the form, they will email it to email@example.com to begin the Financial Aid process.
