Nursing Accelerated Program (Second Degree), BSN
The accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is designed for individuals who already hold a bachelor's degree in another field and are ready to pursue a career in nursing.
This intensive program builds on previous academic experience and provides the clinical training and professional preparation needed to enter the nursing profession in just 12 months.
Students develop the skills to deliver patient-centered care across diverse health care settings while gaining hands-on clinical experience and exposure to today's health care technologies. Graduates are prepared to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) and begin careers in one of the nation's most in-demand professions. The program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCEN).

Accreditation
ACEN accredits all Kean Nursing programs at KJC and Union. The MSN in School Nursing is also accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE ).
The MSN program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street NW, Suite 750, Washington, DC 20001, 202-887-6791 and is accredited until December 31, 2032. This accreditation action was made effective March 28, 2022.
